民進黨發言人楊家俍上午表示，總統當選人蔡英文講得非常清楚，憲法上沒有多數黨組閣的空間，任命閣揆是總統職權，憲法規定非常清楚，希望回歸憲法規定處理。至於毛內閣總辭也屬於總統職權，憲法也有規定，民進黨予以尊重。
雲林兼差工作
有關政黨輪替的相關交接工作，楊家俍表示，過去在2000和2008年都有相關慣例，因此，新民意產生後，政府最重要的工作就是嚴守憲政分際，善盡看守政府的責任，把政權交接工作辦好，把穩定政局做好，這並不是所謂的凌遲或是煎熬。
